COMPETING
MODELS - ELIGIBILITY
All vehicles MUST be minimum 105” wheel base passenger cars made between 1968 to
1995. No Pickups, Mustangs or Camaros.
NO additional ballast weight at any location is
allowed. Having more than one standard type automotive battery, fuel cells, lead
or added heavy materials, reinforcement, or construction using heavier materials
that needed, or anything that can be considered excessive in weight as judged by
PVR technical inspection team.
ENGINES
No turbos, blowers, superchargers or NOS allowed. Engine must be stock for car,
no after market performance parts allowed.
EXHAUST
No headers, mufflers mandatory [95 decibels at 100 feet]
NEW EXHAUST RULE, AS OF JULY 1 2011 ,ALL
HOBBY STOCK MUST RUN A 2 INTO 1 ( Y PIPE) WITH NO MORE THEN A 2 1/4" INLET AND
OUTLET MUFFLER, THERE MUST ALSO BE AT LEAST A 1 FOOT 2 1/4" PIPE PAST THE
MUFFLER.
CARBURETION
No aftermarket carburetors, no after market injectors. Factory Injected cars
allowed. Chevy V8's CAN run the O.E.M. 4 barrel carb
FUEL and
FUEL SYSTEM
Fuel tanks must be mounted in trunk area bolted to floor pan by two 1" steel
straps side to side and two 1" straps front to back, Fuel cell recommended.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Battery must be mounted in rear seat area in an explosion proof box mounted to
floor pan.
Transmission
Drive shaft must be painted white, drive shaft loop must be mounted 6"-8" from
tail shaft
Rear Ends
Rear end may be welded, no spools
Suspension
No weight jacks or suspension modifications. No coilover or air shocks allowed,
if car came with air ride there can not be any changes to O.E.M system
Brakes
All four brakes must work, no brake shut off valves
BODIES
Front inner wheel wells may be removed. No gutting, reinforcing or modifying
except to mount roll cage to frame. All doors must be bolted or welded. All
glass, molding, lights must be removed. NO mirrors. All head liner, carpet,
passenger seats, door arm rests must be removed. Trunk area must be sealed from
driver’s area
APPEARANCE / NUMBERING
Cars MUST be clean and neat in appearance from 50 feet. Stenciled 20" numbers on
roof and both sides of car, 6" number on front and rear of car. (NO SPRAY
PAINTED NUMBERS)
BUMPERS
O.E.M Front and rear bumpers only. No tube bumpers. 3" bumper straps on front
and rear bumpers to body, car must have a chain or tow hooks front and rear.
GLASS - WINDSCREEN
Windshield must be replaced with a
full screen.
WHEELS/TIRES
7" steel wheels only max size P235-70R15, no racing, snow or LT tires, tires and
wheels must fit fender walls, NO grooving of tires. You may run 5/8 wheel studs
with up to 1" nuts, (must be steel)
ROLL BARS
All cars Must have a 4 point roll cage and two driver’s side door bar, minimum
tubing size of 1.5 by 120 wall thickness. NO black pipe. Bars must be mild steel
or chrome molly. They must be bent; No 45 degree angle cuts in roll bar.
SEATS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Window nets are mandatory. Racing seat optional, but highly recommended. Minimum
4 point racing harnesses mandatory. Must have a Snell 2000 or newer approved
full-face helmet. Fire suits and neck brace mandatory

Fire
Extinguishers
On board fire extinguisher (2 lb.) MANDATORY, within drivers reach while
strapped in. Steel mounts only, no plastic. All cars will be required to have in
their pits a minimum of one 2 pound, dry chemical fire extinguisher.
INSPECTIONS
All cars are subject to inspection at any time and in any manner determined by
track officials.
CLAIM:
$650.00 CASH and
exchange of car on all claims. Driver may keep belts, racing seat, fuel cell [if
equipped] and battery, must finish on lead lap ,must have raced 50% of races ran
and the prior race to claim. Top 5 finishers may not claim. Car number and money
must be presented at claim area at end of race before leaving track, ONCE YOU
LEAVE THE TRACK YOU CAN NOT CLAIM, If claim is refused the driver will be
suspended from class for the remainder of the season forgoing all points and
awards. A driver may only claim twice during a season. The track may claim any
car at any time for $650.
Both cars must be deemed legal for claim to stand.
The last main event winner will tag the main event.
The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the
orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptance requirement
for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by
participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with
these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM
PUBLICATION OR OF COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND /OR REGULATIONS. They are
intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee
against injury or death to a participant, spectator or official. The Race
Director shall be empowered to permit minor deviation from any of the
specifications herein or impose further restrictions that in his/her opinion do
not alter minimum acceptance requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY
SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or
deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their
decision is final.
