Fuel injection Hilborn style: 2 3/16 diameter maximum bore size. If restricted to 2 3/16,
restrictor to be 3 inches long and above the butterflies.

REMEMBER COMMONSENSE WILL PREVAIL (No nitrous blowers etc.)

BODY & CHASSIS:
1. Chassis Construction: Aluminum and/or titanium chassis are not allowed. Titanium parts or components of any kind are not allowed in any location except the engine.
2. Roll Cage:
 a.) All cars shall be equipped with external roll cage bars approved by the Board of Directors, which must comply with the following specifications:
  i) Shall be constructed of at least 1 & 3/8 inch (1.375”) O.D., minimum SAE 4130 seamless tubing, with walls at least 0.095 inch thick.
  ii) Shall be welded to the frame.
  iii) Roll cages built after 01/1992 must be constructed of at least 1 2 inch O.D., minimum SAE 4130 seamless tubing, with walls at least 0.095 inch thick.
3. Oil or water coolers shall not be mounted on the roll cage.
4. Wheelbase: Minimum allowable wheelbase is eighty-four inches (84.0”). There is no maximum.
5. Right Front Tire Offset: The outermost vertical plane of the right front tire shall not be offset past the same plane of the right rear tire. Maximum horizontal offset distance is forty-six inches (46.0”) from the car’s centerline.
6. Driveshaft & Rear Axle:
  i) Shall be of the “open tube” or “full-floating” type. The drive shaft and rear axle center section shall be mounted along the chassis centerline at a ninety degree (90°) angle to the front and rear axles.
  ii) The maximum allowable rear axle offset distance is forty-six inches (46.0”), as measured from the outermost right rear tire sidewall to the centerline of the torque tube.
7. Seat:
 a.) Shall mounted on the chassis centerline, and bolted to the frame at a minimum of four (4) locations including two (2) mounts on the bottom and two (2) in the back.
 b.) Minimum 3/8 inch (0.375”) diameter bolts and minimum 1 & 1/2 inch (1.50”) O.D. steel flat washers shall be installed between the seat and bolt heads.
8. Body Panels:
 a.) Must have a “sprint car appearance” as defined by USAC guidelines.
 b.) Shall be mounted along the chassis centerline, and may not extend beyond the confines of the frame.
 c.) Shall not extend higher than 37 & 1/2 inches (37.50”) from the bottom of the lower frame rail, or farther back than the centerline of the rear axle, except for a “wedge” or “V-panel” no larger than 15.0 inches wide at the bottom and 22.0 inches tall. Wedge or V-panels may not extend forward of the centerline of the rear axle.
 d.) Shall be attached with Dzus fasteners. Hose clamps or wire ties are not allowed.
 e.) Nose Assembly:
  i) Shall not be wider than the parallel lines of the body, and may not exceed the width of the frame.
  ii) The top surface shall not be “dished” or concaved by more than 1.0 inch, as measured from a straight line along the longitudinal axis of the car, including any “flares” or “wicker bills”.
  iii) Vertical “spill plates” are not allowed.
 f.) Right & Left Side Body Panels: Shall not be laterally extended, must be the same height as the cowling, and may not extend beyond the rear edge of the rear roll cage brace.
 g.) Any exterior body panel deemed by an A.S.C.A Official to constitute an airflow device will not be allowed.
